Within the VN platform, there are some standard limitations with regards to data analysis, platform support, and media accessibility. This guide provides an overview of these limitations to help clarify what Secure can and cannot do as part of social media monitoring and analysis.
Supported Platforms & Media
- Priority Platforms: Secure analysis focuses on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Public data: Only publicly available data is analyzed on the priority platforms.
- Content Types: We do not have access or collect temporary media types such as Instagram Stories, for non opted-in social handles.
- Carousel Posts: Secure analyzes up to 10 videos per carousel post.
Analytical Limitations
- Maximum Video Length: Secure analyzes videos up to 50 minutes in length. Any videos exceeding this duration will not be processed.
- No Comments: Only creator generated posts (videos, photos, text) are analyzed, Secure does not process comments on the priority platforms.
- Finsta, Fake & Hidden Accounts: Secure does not detect hidden or fake accounts.
- Non-Speech Recognition: Secure may misinterpret non-speech sounds or background noises, when analyzing audio.
- High-Speed Motion: Videos with high-speed movements may result in inaccuracies due to Secure’s frame-by-frame sampling.
- Transcriptions: Transcription results may lack proper punctuation.
Platform-Specific and Creator Eligibility Limitations
- IG Post Count Discrepancy: "Analyzed Posts" includes all content (even hidden Reels), while "Published Posts" only counts main feed items. This can lead to the analyzed/published ratio exceeding 100%.
- Creator Eligibility Requirements:
- All platforms: More than 1,000 followers
- YouTube and TikTok: At least 3 videos published in the last 90 days
- Instagram: At least 1 post published in the last 90 days
